With more than 18,000 hectares of land under its care, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) provides access to some of the best bird watching locations in the region.

Bird watching at Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve

Located on the Toronto waterfront, Tommy Thompson Park provides a natural habitat for many species of colonial waterbirds, waterfowl and shorebirds, making it a favourite of local birders.

The Kortright Centre for Conservation is home to several peregrine falcons and other birds of prey, including hawks and owls. The Raptor Centre at Kortright helps to facilitate the delivery of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation‘s successful outreach program.

Other popular locations include Petticoat Creek Conservation Park, Glen Haffy Conservation Park and Boyd Conservation Park.*
